Our film will have a 15 age rating, which we decided to choose due to the largest group within our research pool being under eighteen years of age.

We tried to get an even amount of males to females to fill in the questionnaire however 65% of the group we asked were female with 35% being male

We decided to make our film a thriller after the vast majority of people we asked enjoyed a thriller the most. As this is the most popular genre we will make a thriller film.

According to the graph above 55% of our research pool said that mise-en-scéne is incredibly important to a films opening. From this information s a group we will focus on Mise-en-scene as it is an important element in the film opening.  

The graph shows 70% of our research pool said that their favourite thriller sub-genres are crime psychological. We will try to incorporate a psychological sub genre aspect.

The graph shows 45% of our research pool said that their favourite thriller character convention is psychopath, and a serial killer coming in at second.

The graph shows that 26% of our research pool said camerawork is the most important component in the opening of a thriller film 

According to our research 45% said that not much of the plot should be revealed in a thriller film's opening.

The graph shows over half of our research pool said that thrillers set in the past work best.

Approximately 70% of our research pool said that the opening of a thriller film should be mildly paced.
