Question 2. How does your media product represent particular social groups?

The finished task, includes two main characters the hitman played by Kaden Gardener and the victim played by me. (Ty Fakoya)

Kaden's character, was heavily based on Agent 47 played by Rupert Friend in the film "Hitman: Agent 47".Kaden's character's personality was adapted to be an "outsider" and detached from society  similarly to Rupert's associate hitman character in "Hitman: Agent 47". Later however, Kaden's character within the film will have more humanistic characteristics.

 

My character, was much more based on average university students. The costume was informal and was much more based on social realism. This was also present in scream where the main characters wore similar clothing. In contrast to scream my character would have a much bigger part to play rather than a predictable death or a insignificant role within the film.

 

The costume design for Kaden's character was strongly based off of Rupert associates costume in "Hitman: Agent 47". Kaden is wearing a black suit, white shirt and red tie. In contrast to "Hitman: Agent 47" as a group we decided to make Kaden's costume noticeably untidy to foreshadow his character's inexperience and lack of organisation that will be presented later in the film.
